Clynton van Sittert
Clynton van Sittert completed his studies at the University of Stellenbosch in 2009.
After he qualified with a BSc Honours Degree in Biokinetics, he moved to Benoni where he started his career in the private sector.
Clynton has an affinity for sports -related injuries and chronic conditions including movement disorders. He brings a unique level of dedication to each client’s needs and specificity when working within the scope of biokinetics.
At school, Clynton was a provincial amateur wrestler and rugby player. These sports served as a foundation in understanding individual and team dynamics.
He is also a member of Jeppe Quandam Athletics Club where he enjoys road running and managed to train and complete two Comrades Marathons and five Two Oceans Marathons. Clynton’s humble and friendly approach when forming a relationship with his clients, stands as testimony to his unconditional commitment to his goal driven attitude in life.
Katija Pimenta is our Biokineticist since 2018 and obtained her BA in Biokinetics through UJ in 2016, after completing her undergraduate degree in Sports Management in 2015.
Born and raised in the East rand and she has a tremendous passion for people and the use of movement and exercise to better one's life.
Katija has an interest and love for children, sport rehabilitation and neurological conditions.
She has represented South Africa in numerous lifesaving competitions and feels at home in the water, with coaching young swimmers for 5 years.
Katija has a big smile and even bigger heart, and believes that your goals become hers, Living by the motto of what doesn’t challenge you, will not change you.
Johan Potgieter completed his undergraduate degree, BA Sport Science at University of Pretoria, in 2017 which was then followed by his postgraduate degree BHSc with Honours in Biokinetics at University of the Witwatersrand in 2018.
Johan always tries to make the best out of each situation and believe that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. He is driven to make a change in people’s lives and allow them to have the best quality of life possible.
Johan is passionate about his sport and has coached rugby and cricket for 5 years after school while completing his degrees. He has developed an interest in rehabilitation during that time and decided to go into the field of Biokinetics.
Johan has an interest in sport rehabilitation as well as chronic conditions and likes a new challenge to learn more of different conditions.
Hollie Mann is one of our Biokineticist interns for 2019. She obtained her undergraduate BSc Sport and Exercise Science degree at the University of Western Cape in 2016 and completed her BHSc Honours in Biokinetics in 2018 at the University of Witwatersrand.
She has a keen interest in neurological and chronic conditions including movement disorders. Her focus is always on what is best for the patient and how to work with them within the biokinetics scope of practice to improve their activities of daily living.
She is always interested to learn from others around her and put it into practice to assist individuals with their daily difficulties.
Hollie is a sports enthusiast that participates in various sports such as; CrossFit, Mixed Martial Arts and Soccer throughout the week. Her goals for this year are to compete in the CrossFit Open, The Beast Obstacle Course Race as well as Last Man Standing at the end of the year.
